When

Being a supervisee is a chance to bring whatever you need into the space without fear of judgement or blame. To be able to do that you need to feel safe. That is the first priority of your supervisor. However, as the supervisee you have the opportunity to play an important role in making the relationship an honest and rewarding one. Both parties bring their past into the space and so transference and countertransference issues around authority are bound to come up. These issues can create an impasse between you.

What’s on Offer?

In this seminar, working together with Robin, our aim is to look at the supervisory relationship, paying particular attention to how the supervisee can feel empowered and safe enough to be vulnerable. Our intention is also to help identify and understand the importance of psychodynamics in the supervisory relationship. This is the place where growth can happen.
